This is an 80s era beaded and sequinned silk dress made by Elegance Paris.  It has large shoulder pads, a scoop neckline, long sleeves and is made in a short length with a 3 1/2” slit at either bottom side.  It has a short slit opening at the upper back that closes with a button and loop.  It is fully lined in black 100% polyester.  

Label:  Elegance Paris.  Founded in 1954, it appears to be primarily a European brand

Material:  100% silk shell / 100% polyester lining

Sizing:  The size label reads French 44, which should be equivalent to a US 14, and although this should fit a large to XL size, please rely on the following measurements for fit (please measure your body or a similar garment that you might own for comparison):

Shoulders:  17 1/2” across, from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves  24 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam:  17 3/4”

Bust: 42” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 42” around 

Overall length: 30 1/2“, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains, missing beads/sequins or odour.
